Thank you for choosing Lumi: Calm & Communication. I am an independent developer committed to protecting the privacy and safety of your child. This Privacy Policy explains how I handle information within the application.

Summary: Lumi is designed to be completely safe and private. I do not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no ads, no trackers, and no internet connection required for the app’s core functions.

1. Information Collection

I believe in privacy by design. I do not collect any personal information from children or parents.

  • I do not ask for names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
  • I do not collect location data.
  • I do not collect device identifiers or usage analytics.

2. Data Storage

All data entered into the app (such as the child’s name, profile preferences, mood logs, and routine schedules) is stored locally on your device.

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to me or any third party. You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the application or using the reset options within the Parent Hub.

3. Third-Party Services

Lumi is a standalone application. I do not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or social media platforms. Your child will never be exposed to targeted advertising or tracking.

4. Children’s Privacy

My application is designed specifically for children, including those under the age of 13. I comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) specifically regarding children’s data (GDPR-K).

Because I do not collect any personal data, I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

5. Parent Hub & Security

Access to settings and sensitive configuration options is protected by a “Parent Hub” gate (a PIN or simple math challenge). This ensures that children cannot accidentally change settings or navigate away from the safe environment.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
